When Americo Alfonso came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Proyectos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Americo Alfonso couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute, Bartolo Chico fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 13th minute of the match, Alejandro Hug got a very nice opportunity to score, but Erubiel Timo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 17th minute, Laureano Quintyn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Prospero Suarez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Aldo Bartolome struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Prospero Suarez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Proyectos FC. After 21 minutes, Americo Alfonso made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Los Borrachos del Galpon's Prospero Suarez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Proyectos FC's goalkeeper Erubiel Timo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Erubiel Timo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alejandro Hug in the 36th minute. Americo Alfonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Suarez having to interfere. Erubiel Timo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romulo Salvator in the 41st minute. Laureano Quintyn's late challenge caught a Los Borrachos del Galpon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Laureano Quintyn helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Proyectos FC's Laureano Quintyn got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 45th minute of the match Los Borrachos del Galpon got a corner. Proyectos FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ulises Mogel ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Los Borrachos del Galpon's Ulises Mogel to fire away a dangerous shot which Erubiel Timo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Proyectos FC's Americo Alfonso got a free kick in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bartolo Chico made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Los Borrachos del Galpon got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Martxelin. After some careless play in the Proyectos FC defense, Bartolo Chico kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erubiel Timo. The Proyectos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erubiel Timo should have stopped the shot. When Bartolo Chico came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Los Borrachos del Galpon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bartolo Chico couldn't finish the play. Aldo Bartolome recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Los Borrachos del Galpon's goalkeeper Prospero Suarez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aldo Bartolome. The audience was convinced that Bartolo Chico's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erubiel Timo was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. After having played for 94 minutes, Alejandro Hug managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Borrachos del Galpon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejandro Hug was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Proyectos FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
