After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Carlos Ospetsu managed to get in a good position for a shot. UnionTate's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Ospetsu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evelio Gimenez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 7 minutes into the match, MADDA FC's goalkeeper Evelio Gimenez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eustacio Milian. Clemente Tome received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Victorio Fidencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Clemente Tome notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of UnionTate's Victorio Fidencio. Victorio Fidencio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in MADDA FC's zone, Carlos Ospetsu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evelio Gimenez came out of the goal and Carlos Ospetsu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clemente Tome fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorio Fidencio having to interfere. Eustacio Milian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evelio Gimenez having to interfere. Evelio Gimenez stood somewhat misplaced when Carlos Ospetsu came free in front of goal and shot 2-2 to the left of him in the 30 minute. Cirilo Goizeder struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Victorio Fidencio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MADDA FC. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Ospetsu to make the kick off. Cirilo Goizeder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, UnionTate's Victorio Fidencio got control of the ball when Cirilo Goizeder tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cirilo Goizeder got free with Victorio Fidencio in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgard Vergaray during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 68 played minutes UnionTate got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Vergaray. 74 minutes into the match, Carlos Ospetsu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evelio Gimenez. MADDA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Ospetsu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Clemente Tome sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eustacio Milian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evelio Gimenez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Ospetsu, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Victorio Fidencio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cirilo Goizeder in the 96th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
