Remigio Pinto's late challenge caught a MADDA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remigio Pinto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th match minute, Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remigio Pinto to maneuver through the defense. Clemente Tome sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eliseo Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Goizeder in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Emilio Nuñez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Evelio Gimenez, 1-0. Cirilo Goizeder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Eliseo Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alejandro Milio's late challenge caught a Independiente's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alejandro Milio helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Independiente booed when MADDA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Milio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Independiente's Emilio Nuñez got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd play minute Emilio Nuñez came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Evelio Gimenez. 2-0. Haroldo Argoitz's late challenge caught a MADDA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Haroldo Argoitz helped the player get up and apologised. Haroldo Argoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. If Cirilo Goizeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteban Udalaitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonatan Sabin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in MADDA FC's zone, Emilio Nuñez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evelio Gimenez came out of the goal and Emilio Nuñez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 54 minutes into the game, Clemente Tome recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eliseo Fernandes. Clemente Tome showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. 61 minutes into the game, Anier Bernabel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MADDA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Independiente the free kick. A collision led to MADDA FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Anier Bernabel hit a great ball. Camilo Quirze kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After having played for 71 minutes, Haroldo Argoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Independiente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haroldo Argoitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eliseo Fernandes made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Cirilo Goizeder sent off a good shot on target. After 77 played minutes Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Elpidio Harkaitz. 84 minutes into the game, one of MADDA FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Cirilo Goizeder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd match minute, Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Quirze to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the match, Emilio Nuñez notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of MADDA FC's Evelio Gimenez. Evelio Gimenez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Independiente's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
