The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Chorilo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Favila to maneuver through the defense. In the 3rd minute, Ovidio Heriberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arsenio Ramirez got free with Apolo Aballe in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 7 minutes into the match, Chorilo FC's Gaudencio Bieito sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Apolo Aballe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Chorilo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidio Heriberto came free, but Nereo Francesco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Israel Quentin charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Israel Quentin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, C.A.Octubre Rojo's Israel Quentin got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute, Arsenio Ramirez made a precise shot to the right of Apolo Aballe. C.A.Octubre Rojo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 21st minute, Anibal Caetano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nereo Francesco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidio Heriberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arsenio Ramirez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 33 minutes of play, C.A.Octubre Rojo's Fabio Erdiano made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nereo Francesco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gaudencio Bieito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Apolo Aballe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaudencio Bieito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Aballe having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, C.A.Octubre Rojo's goalkeeper Apolo Aballe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arsenio Ramirez. A collision led to C.A.Octubre Rojo getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Israel Quentin hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Gaudencio Bieito fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Apolo Aballe, passed just outside the right post. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gaudencio Bieito to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Chorilo FC's Gaudencio Bieito made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Apolo Aballe was left in no man's land by his defense there! 56 minutes into the match, Chorilo FC's Gaudencio Bieito sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Apolo Aballe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adan Eleder hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Rafael Selatse hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Apolo Aballe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Ramirez in the 68th minute of play. Apolo Aballe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaudencio Bieito, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Gaudencio Bieito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Aballe having to interfere. Arsenio Ramirez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Apolo Aballe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Arsenio Ramirez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 96 played minutes Chorilo FC got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Garaile. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Chorilo FC had won after a very even match.
