Spectators: 6670 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 0) UnionTate's Carlos Ospetsu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, Ovidio Heriberto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A.Octubre Rojo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ovidio Heriberto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, UnionTate's Gualterio Lluis got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 6th minute, Fabio Erdiano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victorio Fidencio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 9 played minutes C.A.Octubre Rojo got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Casomiro. 10 minutes into the match, UnionTate's Fernan Reyes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Miguel Sanchez kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Carlos Ospetsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Aballe having to interfere. Victorio Fidencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Heriberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. A collision led to C.A.Octubre Rojo getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Freddy Nuno hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, Israel Quentin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 minutes, Israel Quentin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A.Octubre Rojo and the UnionTate players grew even worse after the yellow card. Israel Quentin kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. UnionTate's Eustacio Milian got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victorio Fidencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Heriberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. When Eustacio Milian fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UnionTate's protests and gave Eustacio Milian a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th match minute, UnionTate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustacio Milian to maneuver through the defense. If Ovidio Heriberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The UnionTate players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. C.A.Octubre Rojo were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ovidio Heriberto to strike the kick off in the second half. When Fabio Erdiano came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the C.A.Octubre Rojo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabio Erdiano couldn't finish the play. Ovidio Heriberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Victorio Fidencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Marcelino Ponc fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A.Octubre Rojo's protests and gave Marcelino Ponc a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th minute there was a penalty for UnionTate. Fernan Reyes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Apolo Aballe. 1-2. Eustacio Milian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Aballe having to interfere. After 80 minutes of play, C.A.Octubre Rojo's Fabio Erdiano made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victorio Fidencio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carlos Ospetsu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind UnionTate's goalkeeper Victorio Fidencio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Eustacio Milian ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Apolo Aballe was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. When Eustacio Milian came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the UnionTate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustacio Milian couldn't finish the play. Edgard Vergaray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 101st minute. Apolo Aballe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The C.A.Octubre Rojo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing C.A.Octubre Rojo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
