Oscar Nataniel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Orlando Bento having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Nataniel in the 12th minute of play forced Batata AFC's goalkeeper Orlando Bento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduardo Stanislao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the match, Alonzo Naike dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rafael Elizardo, 1-0. Rafael Elizardo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julio Martinez in the 29th minute. Eduard Ponomarev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Orlando Bento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Batata AFC's zone, Eduardo Stanislao stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orlando Bento came out of the goal and Eduardo Stanislao tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute, Eduardo Stanislao got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Oscar Nataniel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduard Ponomarev's late challenge caught a Batata AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduard Ponomarev helped the player get up and apologised. After 48 played minutes Román fc got a freekick which was hit by Eduard Ponomarev.

Oscar Nataniel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th minute, Julio Martinez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Batata AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After 63 played minutes Román fc got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Matro. Remigio Gudesteo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rafael Elizardo. Román fc's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Oscar Nataniel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Orlando Bento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute Julio Martinez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Elizardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Batata AFC's Orlando Bento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Batata AFC from getting a goal against them. 77 minutes into the match, Román fc's Eduardo Stanislao sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orlando Bento narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Oscar Nataniel struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Orlando Bento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Román fc. Oscar Nataniel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orlando Bento read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eduardo Stanislao got free with Orlando Bento in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. For all the effort they put into the match, the Román fc players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Batata AFC.
