Cayetano Savion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fidel Erasto charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fidel Erasto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Madrejón FC booed when Lavalia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Erasto didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Cayetano Savion came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Madrejón FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cayetano Savion couldn't finish the play. In the 20th minute Cayetano Savion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo Leobardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th play minute Genaro Pello came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Filiberto Primo. 1-0. Lavalia FC's Lorenzo Leobardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Savion in the 31st minute of play. Filiberto Primo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Erasto in the 39th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 51st minute, Teodoro Etxatxu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cayetano Savion scored 1-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lorenzo Leobardo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Genaro Pello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lavalia FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Isaias Tomi 67 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Lavalia FC's goalkeeper Lorenzo Leobardo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Lavalia FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Gerardo Grabiel hit a great ball. After having played for 75 minutes, Cayetano Savion managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Madrejón FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cayetano Savion was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th minute, Madrejón FC's Isaias Tomi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lorenzo Leobardo. Lorenzo Leobardo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Filiberto Primo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genaro Pello in the 82nd minute of play. The Madrejón FC fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Madrejón FC's Cayetano Savion looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lavalia FC's Genaro Pello got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 95 minutes of play, Lavalia FC's Fidel Erasto made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filiberto Primo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Madrejón FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Madrejón FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
