If Jacobo Lizar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacobo Lizar in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aquiles Brais prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paulino Araoz struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Aquiles Brais didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mr. Popo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulino Araoz in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aquiles Brais saved Aicuña from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Paulino Araoz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mr. Popo's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulino Araoz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquiles Brais breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Mr. Popo getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Victorio Iraido hit a great ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 32nd minute of the game. One of Aicuña:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mr. Popo:s goal. Aquiles Brais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Araoz in the 37th minute of play. Aquiles Brais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacobo Lizar in the 39th minute of the match. The Mr. Popo fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Mr. Popo's Paulino Araoz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacobo Lizar got free with Aquiles Brais in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Jacobo Lizar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Mr. Popo booed when Aicuña was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Caton didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulino Araoz in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aquiles Brais saved Aicuña from getting behind. Justino Walme charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Justino Walme the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Mr. Popo booed when Aicuña was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justino Walme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacobo Lizar took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aquiles Brais. Aquiles Brais dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Aquiles Brais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Araoz in the 90th minute of play. In the 96th minute Paulino Araoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Brais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Aicuña fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mr. Popo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
