The La Banda del Chila fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when La Banda del Chila's Artemio Olayo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Artemio Olayo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filiberto Igon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Filiberto Igon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Olayo in the 22nd minute of the match. La Banda del Chila's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Enzo Hurko 25 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Dario Sidoro kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. A collision led to Club Atlético Cerveceros getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Damian Ostots hit a great ball. La Banda del Chila's Artemio Olayo got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Club Atlético Cerveceros's Filiberto Igon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artemio Olayo in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Francisco Urbez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Cerveceros's Damian Ostots got a free kick in the 45th minute. Filiberto Igon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artemio Olayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Artemio Olayo made a kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Artemio Olayo could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Filiberto Igon however easily saved by the left post. Baldomero Velasco might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Humberto Ortiz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baldomero Velasco ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 60th minute Artemio Olayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiberto Igon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filiberto Igon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Olayo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Filiberto Igon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. La Banda del Chila's Justino Urritz shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 73rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Filiberto Igon but with some difficulty. Filiberto Igon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Olayo in the 75th minute of the match. Francisco Urbez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Filiberto Igon. Club Atlético Cerveceros's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Artemio Olayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Justino Urritz came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the La Banda del Chila fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justino Urritz couldn't finish the play. Artemio Olayo in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Filiberto Igon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 94 minutes, Artemio Olayo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Banda del Chila's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artemio Olayo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
