In the 32nd minute, one of Aicuña:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Aicuña. Aquiles Brais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geronimo Carlomagno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Molinos booed when Aicuña was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Mercurio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aicuña's Aquiles Brais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Telmo in the 44th minute of play. Geronimo Carlomagno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Aquiles Brais made a huge save. When Jose Gil came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Molinos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Gil couldn't finish the play. In the 98th minute, Aicuña's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Christian Medardo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.
