Herminio Maidana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Herminio Maidana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaac Maura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute Marcos Donostia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Chorche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristobal Chorche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herminio Maidana in the 31st minute of play. If Isaac Maura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Gremeo f.c getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Prudencio Quintan hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herminio Maidana made a kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Aicuña got a corner. Gremeo f.c's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Saul Demario ran over to the corner to take the kick. Herminio Maidana struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Cristobal Chorche didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aicuña. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquilino Martinez in the 62nd minute of play forced Aicuña's goalkeeper Aquiles Brais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Marcos Donostia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aicuña fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. David Nicholas hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Aicuña's Saul Demario couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Gremeo f.c. Cristobal Chorche was a little too slow when Herminio Maidana got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 1-3. When Marcos Donostia came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Aicuña fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Donostia couldn't finish the play. 91 minutes into the match, Gremeo f.c's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Maidana came free, but Cristobal Chorche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 98 minutes, Herminio Maidana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aicuña's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herminio Maidana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aicuña's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
