Aquilino Martinez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramon Rafe having to make a save. Aquilino Martinez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Ramon Rafe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isaac Maura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aquilino Martinez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramon Rafe having to make a save. 16 minutes into the game, Ildefonso Flor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chicago F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gremeo f.c the free kick. If Isaac Maura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute Isaac Maura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Rafe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramon Rafe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Maura, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the game, Jeronimo Mendebal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chicago F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gremeo f.c the free kick. In the 30th match minute, Chicago F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeronimo Mendebal to maneuver through the defense. Aquilino Martinez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramon Rafe having to make a save. In the 40th minute, Aquilino Martinez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aquilino Martinez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramon Rafe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. When Roman Caton fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gremeo f.c's protests and gave Roman Caton a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Gremeo f.c getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Roman Caton hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Omar Quintun to make the kick off. Ramon Rafe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isaac Maura in the 52nd minute. After having played for 54 minutes, Omar Quintun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chicago F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Omar Quintun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquilino Martinez in the 60th minute of play forced Chicago F.C.'s goalkeeper Ramon Rafe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramon Rafe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquilino Martinez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isaac Maura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Rafe having to interfere. With a little luck, Chicago F.C.'s Ramon Rafe got control of the ball when Isaac Maura tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Chicago F.C.'s Alfredo Ourente got a free kick in the 65th minute. Ramon Rafe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquilino Martinez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Siro Toro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Chorche having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Omar Quintun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Roman Caton was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 89 minutes had been played. In the 90th minute, Roman Caton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Omar Quintun spun around in front of the goal 91 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Gremeo f.c's goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Gremeo f.c players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
