Benito Pirro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Azevedo having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Severiano Burutzagi put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Saul Azevedo. The supporters of St. Jimmy booed when TomasodaFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Orlandus didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to TomasodaFC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Marciano Barea hit a great ball. St. Jimmy's Benjamin Berbiz got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th minute of the match Ruben Innocenzio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucas Seguinus showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 27th minute Severo Fero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Seguinus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. TomasodaFC's Lucas Seguinus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Fero in the 28th minute of play. After 32 minutes, Benjamin Berbiz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the St. Jimmy and the TomasodaFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th match minute, TomasodaFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucio Miro to maneuver through the defense. After 42 played minutes St. Jimmy got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Bernard. After a rather tough play, TomasodaFC's Ruperto Ibon got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Severiano Burutzagi to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in St. Jimmy's zone, Joaquin Argoitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saul Azevedo came out of the goal and Joaquin Argoitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saul Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severiano Burutzagi in the 55th minute of play. Severo Fero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Lucas Seguinus made a huge save. Severiano Burutzagi scored 2-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Saul Azevedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Severiano Burutzagi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Joaquin Argoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. TomasodaFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquin Argoitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saul Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joaquin Argoitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saul Azevedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Joaquin Argoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
