Maximiliano Fraco struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Jimeno Brion didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Branca FC. If Benigno Santo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruben Thomas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Branca FC's Benigno Santo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jimeno Brion narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benigno Santo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Benigno Santo sped through Pucará FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jimeno Brion. Jimeno Brion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinicio Nuñez, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After a rather tough play, Branca FC's Benigno Santo got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute, Anier Sotil reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gregorio Millan. The goal made the score 1-1. After 33 played minutes Branca FC got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Fraco. In the 37th minute Anier Sotil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregorio Millan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anier Sotil during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Pucará FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Anier Sotil hit a great ball. Anier Sotil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benigno Santo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Benigno Santo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Pucará FC's Jimeno Brion. Jimeno Brion was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 64 minutes into the match, Pucará FC's goalkeeper Jimeno Brion had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vinicio Nuñez. 66 minutes into the game, Branca FC's Vinicio Nuñez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jimeno Brion made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Pucará FC's Jimeno Brion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Santo in the 74th minute of play. After having played for 75 minutes, Vinicio Nuñez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Branca FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vinicio Nuñez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jimeno Brion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Santo in the 78th minute of the match. The long shot by Maximiliano Fraco in the 79th minute really tested Jimeno Brion's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With a little luck, Pucará FC's Jimeno Brion got control of the ball when Benigno Santo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Benigno Santo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jimeno Brion was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. In the 88th minute, Branca FC's Juan Kismi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jimeno Brion. Jimeno Brion yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. When Hernan Silviano fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pucará FC's protests and gave Hernan Silviano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd minute, Hernan Silviano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Pucará FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Gogo Caradaro hit a great ball.
