In the 30th minute, Vinicio Nuñez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Branca FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After 58 minutes Carrizal FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Venancio Pacifico who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Venancio Pacifico almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Carrizal FC's Isidro Bastian did a great save. Isidro Bastian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benigno Santo's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Andres Joanes was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 61st minute. Branca FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benigno Santo in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isidro Bastian saved Carrizal FC from getting behind. Branca FC's Benigno Santo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 62nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When Benigno Santo came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Branca FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benigno Santo couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benigno Santo got free with Isidro Bastian in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 74 minutes into the game, Benigno Santo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Isidro Bastian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abel Cordearo was shown his second yellow card after 76 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Benigno Santo struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Isidro Bastian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Branca FC. Isidro Bastian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinicio Nuñez in the 84th minute of play. Benigno Santo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Isidro Bastian skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Branca FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
