A hard shot by Saturnino Vedillo from long distance, 46 minutes into the match, got Ubaldo Martxel's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
