To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 23 minutes into the match, Jagüé AFC's Federico Erlantz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredo Salbatore narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Guaberto Aires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Salbatore having to interfere. Federico Erlantz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Jagüé AFC booed when Rodeopampa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Domiku didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredo Salbatore prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alfredo Salbatore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Erlantz in the 67th minute of play. Jesus Aurre received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alfredo Salbatore came out and tried to block the shot, but Jesus Aurre slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 69th minute.
