Fulgencio Papo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Giro having to interfere. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Carlos Bilardo's goalkeeper Everardo Giro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Everardo Giro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabricio Perez went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score.
