Spectators: 5575 (Terracing: 3762, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joaquin Clementi got the match started through his kick off. Deportivo Pelongo's Eugenio Fernanco got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Delmar Bortzaioriz came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Pelongo's Camilo Avellaneda. But to his dismay, Camilo Avellaneda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Instituto's Delmar Bortzaioriz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Fernanco in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute Aaron Heriberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Feliz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Instituto's Ariel Olando got a free kick in the 17th minute. 21 minutes into the game, one of Instituto:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 27th minute Deportivo Pelongo were awarded a corner. Dario Iago went to the cornerflag to take it. Deportivo Pelongo's Dario Iago was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Delmar Bortzaioriz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Instituto's Delmar Bortzaioriz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Tipi in the 29th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Benigno Tipi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Delmar Bortzaioriz was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Benigno Tipi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmar Bortzaioriz having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Silvano Txartiko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Instituto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Benigno Tipi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Delmar Bortzaioriz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Benigno Tipi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Delmar Bortzaioriz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 48th minute of the match Emiliano Isaio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Norberto Feliz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benigno Tipi made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benigno Tipi during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 51st match minute, Deportivo Pelongo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benigno Tipi to maneuver through the defense. Silvano Txartiko kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benigno Tipi in the 55th minute of play forced Instituto's goalkeeper Delmar Bortzaioriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvano Txartiko's late challenge caught a Deportivo Pelongo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvano Txartiko helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st minute, Silvano Txartiko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aaron Heriberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Norberto Feliz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Joaquin Clementi fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Instituto's protests and gave Joaquin Clementi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th match minute, Instituto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquin Clementi to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benigno Tipi in the 72nd minute of play forced Instituto's goalkeeper Delmar Bortzaioriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camilo Avellaneda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Delmar Bortzaioriz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benigno Tipi in the 95th minute of play forced Instituto's goalkeeper Delmar Bortzaioriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Deportivo Pelongo were the better team. Deportivo Pelongo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
