Benjamin Musko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, El Equipo de Tandil's Gaudencio Cuartio got a free kick in the 17th minute. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Benigno Tipi took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Amador Enekoitz to make any attempt to save it. Jorge Argina hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. When Benigno Tipi came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Deportivo Pelongo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benigno Tipi couldn't finish the play. In the 36th minute Dario Iago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Enekoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Amador Enekoitz managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Deportivo Pelongo's Benigno Tipi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaudencio Cuartio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Benigno Tipi came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Deportivo Pelongo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benigno Tipi couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Benigno Tipi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amador Enekoitz was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Benjamin Musko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Pelongo's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin Musko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 75th minute, Benigno Tipi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Arnaldo Sanson fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Pelongo's protests and gave Arnaldo Sanson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Deportivo Pelongo getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Arnaldo Sanson hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the game, Benigno Tipi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Amador Enekoitz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benigno Tipi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the El Equipo de Tandil defense, Benigno Tipi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amador Enekoitz. The El Equipo de Tandil fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amador Enekoitz should have stopped the shot. In the 93rd minute of the match, Gaudencio Cuartio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Norberto Feliz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Deportivo Pelongo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
