Spectators: 7102 (Terracing: 5428, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 10) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Generoso Vergaray started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Benigno Tipi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Errando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Benigno Tipi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Pelongo's supporters rose to their feet, but Benigno Tipi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximino Errando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 6th minute of the match, Placido Crescencio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Norberto Feliz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 9 minutes into the game, Deportivo Pelongo's Benigno Tipi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximino Errando made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Norberto Feliz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Generoso Vergaray in the 13th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Emilio Vigil managed to get in a good position for a shot. ALEJO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emilio Vigil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norberto Feliz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Norberto Feliz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Generoso Vergaray in the 18th minute of play. Placido Crescencio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Norberto Feliz made a huge save. In the 23rd minute Benigno Tipi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Errando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Norberto Feliz made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Emilio Vigil sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute, Camilo Avellaneda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the match, Deportivo Pelongo's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Veto came free, but Norberto Feliz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norberto Feliz came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by ALEJO FC's Placido Crescencio. But to his dismay, Placido Crescencio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Pelongo's Camilo Avellaneda got a free kick in the 35th minute. Deportivo Pelongo's Norberto Feliz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Generoso Vergaray in the 36th minute of play. Benigno Tipi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Errando having to interfere. After 42 minutes of play, Deportivo Pelongo's Eugenio Fernanco made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximino Errando was left in no man's land by his defense there! 49 minutes into the game, Deportivo Pelongo's Camilo Avellaneda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximino Errando made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benigno Tipi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, ALEJO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cecilio Garcia to maneuver through the defense. Maximino Errando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Tipi, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Benigno Tipi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 61 minutes, Camilo Avellaneda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Pelongo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camilo Avellaneda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emilio Vigil hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Benigno Tipi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Maximino Errando made a huge save. ALEJO FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Eugenio Fernanco scored to the left of an out of position Maximino Errando, making the score, 1-4. When Benigno Tipi came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Deportivo Pelongo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benigno Tipi couldn't finish the play. In the 78th minute, Camilo Avellaneda reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Maximino Errando. The goal made the score 1-5. Camilo Avellaneda kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. During the 83rd minute of the match Camilo Avellaneda completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Camilo Avellaneda a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 89th minute, Eugenio Fernanco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 89 minutes into the game, Emilio Vigil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ALEJO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Pelongo the free kick. Emilio Vigil hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in ALEJO FC's zone, Benigno Tipi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximino Errando came out of the goal and Benigno Tipi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maximino Errando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Tipi in the 93rd minute of play. Eugenio Fernanco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximino Errando read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. After having played for 95 minutes, Benigno Tipi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Pelongo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benigno Tipi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Deportivo Pelongo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ALEJO FC throughout the match.
