Federico Urtungo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arcadio Cordoba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. In the 24th match minute, Drysdale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Luzaide to maneuver through the defense. If Federico Urtungo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute Federico Urtungo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arcadio Cordoba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. İhsan Sarih sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Federico Urtungo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arcadio Cordoba was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Enetz in the 47th minute of play forced Bocayuva FC's goalkeeper Arcadio Cordoba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Federico Urtungo took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Arcadio Cordoba to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, İhsan Sarih managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bocayuva FC's supporters rose to their feet, but İhsan Sarih was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vinicio Thomas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, Drysdale's Arcadio Cordoba threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alberto Enetz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Arcadio Cordoba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Enetz, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. If Federico Urtungo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Bocayuva FC's Zacarias Kaiet got a free kick in the 69th minute. Federico Urtungo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arcadio Cordoba having to interfere. When Joaquin Gombal fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bocayuva FC's protests and gave Joaquin Gombal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th minute, Federico Urtungo made a precise shot to the right of Arcadio Cordoba. Bocayuva FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. İhsan Sarih struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Vinicio Thomas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bocayuva FC. After having played for 87 minutes, Zacarias Kaiet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bocayuva FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zacarias Kaiet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zacarias Kaiet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Drysdale getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Robustiano Birjaio hit a great ball.
