The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Federico Urtungo got free with Urbano Bastiaro in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Domingos Domiku sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Drysdale's Vinicio Thomas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno Sadurni in the 13th minute of play. When Los del Clan's Domingos Domiku in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Drysdale's goalie prevented a goal. Urbano Bastiaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Enetz's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Simon Suarez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vinicio Thomas. Drysdale's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 25 played minutes Los del Clan got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Cidro. If Domingos Domiku had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Drysdale getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Hilario Asier hit a great ball. Vinicio Thomas came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Los del Clan's Domingos Domiku. But to his dismay, Domingos Domiku quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Domingos Domiku received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Vinicio Thomas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Hilario Asier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Drysdale's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los del Clan the free kick. The supporters of Los del Clan booed when Drysdale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Asier didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alberto Enetz was the one to do the kick off. Domingos Domiku was extremely unlucky when he, in the 54th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Generoso Lluques kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Filomeno Sadurni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinicio Thomas having to interfere. Vinicio Thomas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Sadurni in the 64th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Domingos Domiku took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Vinicio Thomas to make any attempt to save it. Urbano Bastiaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Enetz in the 69th minute of the match. Vinicio Thomas came out of the goal and Domingos Domiku tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 91 minutes of play Drysdale's Hilario Asier was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Los del Clan booed when Drysdale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Asier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filomeno Sadurni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Los del Clan played a much better game than Drysdale and deserved their victory. The Drysdale players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
