Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alberto Enetz took the kick off in the first half of the match. Epifanio Rainerio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Enetz in the 8th minute of play forced Bañado's goalkeeper Silvestre Macias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 9 minutes, Alberto Enetz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Drysdale's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Enetz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bañado's Silvestre Macias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Enetz in the 12th minute of play. Silvestre Macias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Enetz went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Sergio Hever sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Federico Urtungo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvestre Macias was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. In the 28th minute, Epifanio Rainerio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. After a defensive mix-up in Bañado's zone, Hilario Asier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvestre Macias came out of the goal and Hilario Asier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sergio Hever stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Drysdale getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Federico Urtungo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Hever in the 58th minute of play forced Drysdale's goalkeeper Vinicio Thomas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Enetz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Drysdale's Federico Urtungo got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Alberto Enetz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvestre Macias was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bañado's goalkeeper Silvestre Macias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, one of Bañado:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bañado. Generoso Lluques shot the penalty kick right outside the post. If Sergio Hever had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Drysdale players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
