Spectators: 6718 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 50) Rosario Central's Rodolfo Chesus started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rosario Central's Osvaldo Totakoxe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Ipar in the 5th minute of play. Higinio Isadore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Bladi in the 8th minute of the match. If Adrian Bernaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Pedro Bladi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Bladi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Pascual Ipar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Bladi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Isadore having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Guantánamo's zone, Pedro Bladi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Higinio Isadore came out of the goal and Pedro Bladi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Fernando Demesio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Guantánamo's Adrian Bernaldo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Osvaldo Totakoxe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pascual Ipar to make the kick off. Rodolfo Chesus had several of the Club Atlético Guantánamo's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 53 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Higinio Isadore as he didn't even see the shot coming. 57 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Guantánamo's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Chesus came free, but Higinio Isadore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Adrian Bernaldo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Osvaldo Totakoxe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pascual Ipar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Totakoxe having to interfere. In the 71st minute Pascual Ipar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Totakoxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Rodolfo Chesus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rosario Central's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolfo Chesus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Higinio Isadore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Rosario Central's Fernando Demesio got a free kick in the 80th minute. Alfonso Abilio kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Rosario Central's Rosendo Enmanuel got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Bladi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Isadore having to interfere. A long shot from Rosendo Enmanuel in the 89th minute of play was well struck, but Higinio Isadore made a really good save at the right post. Higinio Isadore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Chesus in the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Adrian Bernaldo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodolfo Chesus in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Higinio Isadore prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rosario Central had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
