If Alvaro Santikurtz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amadeo Bilbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efrain Neron having to interfere. Eusebio Lluc blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo Perpinya having to make a save. Fidel Cebrian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidel Cebrian in the 31st minute of play forced Riachuelo FC's goalkeeper Hugo Perpinya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 played minutes El Rústico got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Bihar. Amadeo Bilbo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 34th minute. Riachuelo FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Higinio Berdoi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Efrain Neron made a huge save. Higinio Berdoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efrain Neron having to interfere. Efrain Neron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeo Bilbo in the 41st minute of the match. If Eusebio Lluc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Amadeo Bilbo made the kick off in the second half. 2-0 became the score in the 58th minute when Higinio Berdoi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Hugo Perpinya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Cebrian in the 61st minute of the match. Fidel Cebrian struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Hugo Perpinya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Rústico. The supporters of El Rústico booed when Riachuelo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Odol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fidel Cebrian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in El Rústico's zone, Amadeo Bilbo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efrain Neron came out of the goal and Amadeo Bilbo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 75 minutes, Arturo Remicio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Rústico and the Riachuelo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 75th match minute, El Rústico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Remicio to maneuver through the defense. Hernan Abel's late challenge caught a Riachuelo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hernan Abel helped the player get up and apologised. Abelardo Sayveon shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The supporters of Riachuelo FC booed when El Rústico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Leizarraga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugo Perpinya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eusebio Lluc in the 95th minute. Eusebio Lluc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Hugo Perpinya made a huge save. Riachuelo FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
