Racing Club's Efrain Maureo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Lalla in the 22nd minute of play. Jonathan Tono kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Fidel Orzaizes short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Efrain Maureo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fidel Orzaize in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Efrain Maureo saved Racing Club from getting behind. After 27 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Tono. The supporters of Winifreda booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteve Ongile didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guaberto Lalla made a kick off. In the 59th minute Fidel Canor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Maureo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Racing Club's Jonas Urki threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Saturnino Eutor, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Guaberto Lalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Efrain Maureo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fidel Orzaize had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rdth minute of the game Guaberto Lalla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Racing Club's Efrain Maureo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rafael Farias kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 82ndth minute. Though ot was a great shot Winifreda's keeper Jonas Urki was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. If Fidel Orzaize had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Tono charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Tono the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fidel Orzaize in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Efrain Maureo saved Racing Club from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Racing Club's Jonathan Tono got a free kick in the 92nd minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Winifreda had played much better football throughout.
