Ramon Odol hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute of the match, Cristian Arias tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alonzo Barrionuevo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Alonzo Barrionuevo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Arias in the 8th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Arias in the 13th minute of play forced Deportivo Larsenal's goalkeeper Alonzo Barrionuevo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaston Chano in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bonifacio Sasoin saved GRANDT from getting behind. Alonzo Barrionuevo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Arias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 37 minutes into the game, when Aaron Montay put in a rough tackle. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Deportivo Larsenal! Silvio Ermano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonzo Barrionuevo having to interfere. When Lino Llanos came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the GRANDT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lino Llanos couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anselmo Paez was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Larsenal's Gaston Chano got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After having played for 54 minutes, Angelo Corderall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GRANDT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelo Corderall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of Deportivo Larsenal:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of GRANDT:s goal. Anselmo Paez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Arias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonzo Barrionuevo having to interfere. Silvio Ermano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Alonzo Barrionuevo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77thth minute of the game Cristian Arias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Larsenal's Alonzo Barrionuevo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Lázaro Gaztea fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Larsenal's protests and gave Lázaro Gaztea a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Deportivo Larsenal getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Lázaro Gaztea hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Arias in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alonzo Barrionuevo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristian Arias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Cristian Arias managed to get in a good position for a shot. GRANDT's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Arias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alonzo Barrionuevo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silvio Ermano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Alonzo Barrionuevo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Anselmo Paez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bonifacio Sasoin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The GRANDT fans cheered their team off the field, for while Deportivo Larsenal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
