Winifreda's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Nicolas Santxol scored to the left of an out of position Jonas Urki, making the score, 1-0. When Jacobo Romero fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Winifreda's protests and gave Jacobo Romero a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th minute of the match Herminio Quintun shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alonzo Barrionuevo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 21st match minute, Winifreda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Bautista to maneuver through the defense. Guaberto Lalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidel Orzaize in the 30th minute of play forced Deportivo Larsenal's goalkeeper Alonzo Barrionuevo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th match minute, Winifreda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Canor to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the game, Alvaro Machado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Winifreda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Larsenal the free kick. The referee gave Deportivo Larsenal a penalty, 73 minutes into the game.
