When Vinicio Mede came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Nafta Súper FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vinicio Mede couldn't finish the play. Nafta Súper FC's Basilio Frasco got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geronimo Roldanillo during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 35th minute, Geronimo Roldanillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Nafta Súper FC booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Silvino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Basilio Frasco to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Basilio Frasco in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Efrain Maureo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Racing Club getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Teobaldo Niva hit a great ball. After having played for 64 minutes, Vinicio Mede managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nafta Súper FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vinicio Mede was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Basilio Frasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Efrain Maureo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Racing Club's goalkeeper Efrain Maureo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, one of Racing Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Racing Club. In the 84th minute there was a penalty for Nafta Súper FC. Cipriano Txerran stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Efrain Maureo. 0-1. Teodosio Eutor charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodosio Eutor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vinicio Mede received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Efrain Maureo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Nafta Súper FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Racing Club.
