Efrain Maureo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Ortle in the 23rd minute of the match. Jonathan Tono kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Daniel Weather recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th match minute, Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobaldo Niva to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Tu culito saca llama FC's Andres Ihazintu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Daniel Weather struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Efrain Maureo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tu culito saca llama FC. After a rather tough play, Racing Club's Alberto Nabar got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the game, Tu culito saca llama FC's Daniel Weather nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Efrain Maureo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Aldo Ortle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tu culito saca llama FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aldo Ortle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Efrain Maureo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 54th minute of the match Tu culito saca llama FC got a corner. Racing Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Andres Ihazintu ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Racing Club getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Armando Silvino hit a great ball. After having played for 58 minutes, Aldo Ortle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tu culito saca llama FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aldo Ortle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aldo Ortle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efrain Maureo having to interfere. Aldo Ortle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victor Cresitobalo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnino Eutor in the 71st minute of the match. Daniel Weather fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efrain Maureo having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aldo Ortle in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Efrain Maureo saved Racing Club from getting behind. Efrain Maureo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Ortle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Genaro Henry during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tu culito saca llama FC's Genaro Henry got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
