Deportivo Pedrano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godofredo Reyes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Godofredo Reyes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Cloyo having to interfere. If Ruperto Laffitte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erubiel Ieltxu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Gaufred, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Godofredo Reyes made the kick off in the second half. If Adrian Bieito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrian Bieito struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Erubiel Ieltxu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Totin. The supporters of Los Totin booed when Deportivo Pedrano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. For all the effort they put into the match, the Deportivo Pedrano players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
