He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Casares reached it. The Casares fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Casares's Arturo Illan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Leopoldo Mantzio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Illan in the 17th minute of play forced Mármol AFC's goalkeeper Dalmacio Ubendu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Leopoldo Mantzio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edgard Pedroso. Leopoldo Mantzio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Maxin in the 27th minute of play forced Mármol AFC's goalkeeper Dalmacio Ubendu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dalmacio Ubendu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Illan, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 32nd minute, Ariel Gaitano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arturo Illan struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Dalmacio Ubendu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Casares. 38 minutes into the match, Leopoldo Maxin notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Mármol AFC's Dalmacio Ubendu. Dalmacio Ubendu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arturo Illan to strike the kick off in the second half. Mármol AFC's Dalmacio Ubendu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Illan in the 57th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Mármol AFC's zone, Leopoldo Maxin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dalmacio Ubendu came out of the goal and Leopoldo Maxin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Leopoldo Maxin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Casares's supporters rose to their feet, but Leopoldo Maxin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalmacio Ubendu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ariel Gaitano during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 68th minute, Isidro Foro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mármol AFC's Dalmacio Ubendu didn't even have to move. A collision led to Mármol AFC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Leonides Maura hit a great ball. Ariel Gaitano was shown his second yellow card after 73 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 79th minute, Lucio Pepillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mármol AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Edgard Pedroso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Pepillo in the 87th minute of play. Aureliano Gaztea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Dalmacio Ubendu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arturo Illan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute.
