With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erubiel Ieltxu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 37 minutes into the game, Deportivo Pedrano's Ruperto Laffitte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lisandro Tano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 41 minutes into the game, Santos Brion cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Erubiel Ieltxu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

53 minutes into the match, Julian Jurdan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lisandro Tano. Garry FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Jurdan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Laffitte in the 56th minute of play forced Garry FC's goalkeeper Lisandro Tano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute Godofredo Reyes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Tano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Garry FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Marco Ralondo hit a great ball. With 63 minutes on the clock, Rodolfo Sendoa commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Deportivo Pedrano's Erubiel Ieltxu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Pedrano from getting a goal against them. After 81 minutes of play, Garry FC's Damaso Aguilera made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erubiel Ieltxu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Damaso Aguileras short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Erubiel Ieltxu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Deportivo Pedrano's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
