After a defensive mix-up in Garry FC's zone, Eugenio Telesforo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lisandro Tano came out of the goal and Eugenio Telesforo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute, Zeledon Handi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ovidio Guillem hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Taquito y Gambeta's Mario Gaur couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 19th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Garry FC. Eugenio Telesforo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Lisandro Tano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baldomiro Oton hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 26th minute by Eugenio Telesforo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 30 minutes into the game, Santos Brion cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Manuel Eleazar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Santos Brion blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manuel Eleazar having to make a save. In the 35th match minute, Taquito y Gambeta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Epifanio James to maneuver through the defense. Santos Brion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute Damaso Aguilera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Eleazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Santos Brion came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Garry FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santos Brion couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Santos Brion made the kick off in the second half. Zeledon Handi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Viviano hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, Danilo Rioja sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Taquito y Gambeta's Manuel Eleazar didn't even have to move. Damaso Aguilera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Garry FC's Ovidio Guillem got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute, Santos Brion got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Zeledon Handi notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Garry FC's Lisandro Tano. Lisandro Tano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 97 minutes into the match, Taquito y Gambeta's goalkeeper Manuel Eleazar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damaso Aguilera.
