In the 25th minute of the match, Eusebio Gilen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jose Eder saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eusebio Gilen to strike the kick off in the second half. Norberto Salvidor might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Koldo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Norberto Salvidor ran back to his position shaking his head. Norberto Salvidor hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. If Fabricio Demario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jose Eder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabricio Demario in the 67th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Eusebio Gilen managed to get in a good position for a shot.
