Tomas Quintun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Haroldo Lauro's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Wilfredo Viviano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomas Quintun having to make a save. Wilfredo Viviano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomas Quintun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Dalmacio Iliana charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dalmacio Iliana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th minute, Edgardo Elequemedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luciano Gaitan during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Haroldo Lauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Quintun having to interfere. Nereo Jokin kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Bruno Colas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Elequemedo in the 31st minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Edgardo Elequemedo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Azul y Oro FC's Bruno Colas. Bruno Colas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edgardo Elequemedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruno Colas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgardo Elequemedo ran back to his position shaking his head. Haroldo Lauro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Celedonio Darien fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Azul y Oro FC's protests and gave Celedonio Darien a yellow card for diving instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilfredo Viviano got free with Tomas Quintun in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

If Wilfredo Viviano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Quintun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Lauro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lonquimay's goalkeeper Tomas Quintun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Domingos Piearres took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Bruno Colas to make any attempt to save it. Edgardo Elequemedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Bruno Colas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celedonio Darien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Quintun having to interfere. 80 minutes in the game, Domingos Piearres fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Bruno Colas having to interfere. Domingos Piearres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 87 played minutes Azul y Oro FC got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Viviano. In the 91st match minute, Lonquimay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Raulo to maneuver through the defense. The Azul y Oro FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lonquimay's performance. The match ended with a win for Lonquimay.
