Inocencio Jacob made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Venceslas in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Tobias Bonadona was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A. Pili S.T.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Rivadavia the free kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Pili S.T.'s Inocencio Jacob proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save C.A. Rodolfo Azubeli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Niva in the 98th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
