After having played for 17 minutes, Eusebio Gilen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. If Fabricio Demario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Viviano in the 24th minute of play forced Corregido por el soporte AR's goalkeeper Marcos Koldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th match minute, Azul y Oro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Derwin to maneuver through the defense. After 31 played minutes Azul y Oro FC got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Inge. After a defensive mix-up in Azul y Oro FC's zone, Eusebio Gilen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Colas came out of the goal and Eusebio Gilen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eusebio Gilen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabricio Demario might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruno Colas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabricio Demario ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 38th minute, Celedonio Darien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eusebio Gilen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Bruno Colas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eusebio Gilen was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Corregido por el soporte AR's goalkeeper Marcos Koldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Corregido por el soporte AR's Eusebio Gilen got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bruno Colas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebio Gilen in the 59th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Eusebio Gilen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Colas was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Haroldo Lauro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Koldo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. If Haroldo Lauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haroldo Lauro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilfredo Viviano during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Corregido por el soporte AR booed when Azul y Oro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Viviano didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Eusebio Gilen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 78 minutes, Cecilio Jerico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corregido por el soporte AR and the Azul y Oro FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th minute of the match Enrique Derwin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Koldo skillfully saved the ball. 83 minutes into the game, Haroldo Lauro lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Marcos Koldo. When Celedonio Darien fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Azul y Oro FC's protests and gave Celedonio Darien a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th minute, Celedonio Darien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes into the game, Fabricio Demario cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Bruno Colas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ignacio Ruy struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Marcos Koldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Azul y Oro FC. Corregido por el soporte AR were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Azul y Oro FC for a fine match.
