Covunco's Aldo Lluques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Edvin Sävström in the 13th minute of play. After 15 minutes, Orlando Mendez made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Covunco's Aldo Lluques tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Aldo Lluques came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Académica FC's Sven-Edvin Sävström. But to his dismay, Sven-Edvin Sävström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Sven-Edvin Sävström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Sven-Edvin Sävström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aldo Lluques was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Sven-Edvin Sävström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven-Edvin Sävström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Aldo Lluques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orlando Mendez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 41 minutes of play, Académica FC's Orlando Mendez made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aldo Lluques was left in no man's land by his defense there! William Prata kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The Covunco players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Académica FC were winning 0-5.

53 minutes into the match, Sven-Edvin Sävström dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aldo Lluques, 0-6. If Ingvar Linqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Edvin Sävström in the 62nd minute of play forced Covunco's goalkeeper Aldo Lluques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orlando Mendez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Lluques having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Covunco's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ingvar Linqvist fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Orlando Mendez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Covunco's Aldo Lluques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Edvin Sävström in the 71st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orlando Mendez in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aldo Lluques saved Covunco from getting behind. Aldo Lluques didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Académica FC's Orlando Mendez shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-10 in the ordered_time% minute. The supporters of Académica FC booed when Covunco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Leoncio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlando Mendez got free with Aldo Lluques in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 85 minutes into the match, Donato Pasqual had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aldo Lluques. Covunco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Donato Pasqual was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-11. Aldo Lluques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Sävström, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the game, Académica FC's Orlando Mendez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aldo Lluques made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-12. 94 minutes into the match, Covunco's goal looked a bit too open when Edelmiro Urtun came free, but Aldo Lluques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Covunco's Aldo Lluques got control of the ball when Orlando Mendez tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Académica FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Covunco throughout the match.
