Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 6thth minute of the game Tadeo Mannie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but jazdelisa's Prospero Laffitte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Prospero Laffitte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeo Mannie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute Tadeo Mannie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Laffitte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the jazdelisa defense, Mariano Savion kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Prospero Laffitte. The jazdelisa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Prospero Laffitte should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Resistencia AFC's zone, Emiliano Gonza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filomeno Panpili came out of the goal and Emiliano Gonza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Mariano Savion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Mariano Savion managed to get in a good position for a shot. Resistencia AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Savion was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prospero Laffitte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 37 minutes into the game, Tadeo Mannie recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Prospero Laffitte. Tadeo Mannie showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Filomeno Panpili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Ponce in the 45th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Savion got free with Prospero Laffitte in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tadeo Mannie was the one to do the kick off. When Mariano Savion came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Resistencia AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Savion couldn't finish the play. In the 53rd match minute, jazdelisa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nereo Blasi to maneuver through the defense. Mariano Savion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Prospero Laffitte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Prospero Laffitte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Roberto Ponce kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Filomeno Panpili. That made the score 3-1 in the 80 minute of play. Mariano Savion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mariano Savion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
