Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tadeo Mannie made the kick off and thus started the match. Maximino Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute of the match Ezequiel Arias sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filomeno Panpili skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 8 minutes, Mariano Savion managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Resistencia AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Savion was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Savion got free with Osvaldo Amato in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Tadeo Mannie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldo Amato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeo Mannie, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Mariano Savion charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mariano Savion the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Resistencia AFC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Mariano Savion hit a great ball. Tadeo Mannie who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Osvaldo Amato when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 30th minute, Picapiedras's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tadeo Mannie fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 33 minutes into the match, Mariano Savion notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Picapiedras's Osvaldo Amato. Osvaldo Amato was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The long shot by Maximino Sancho in the 37th minute really tested Osvaldo Amato's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Mariano Savion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 41st minute, Tadeo Mannie made a precise shot to the right of Osvaldo Amato. Picapiedras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Resistencia AFC's Mariano Savion got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ciriaco Calixto made a kick off. Tadeo Mannie scored 3-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Osvaldo Amato, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 56th minute, Baldomiro Castel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute Tadeo Mannie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Amato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldo Amato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomiro Castel in the 59th minute of the match. Tadeo Mannie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd match minute, Picapiedras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifacio Playo to maneuver through the defense. Cipriano Cresenciano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Osvaldo Amato. Picapiedras's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Picapiedras's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeo Mannie came free, but Osvaldo Amato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciriaco Calixto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Panpili having to interfere. With a little luck, Resistencia AFC's Filomeno Panpili got control of the ball when Roberto Pirro tried to sneak it across the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Resistencia AFC's Mariano Savion nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Osvaldo Amato made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Osvaldo Amato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Savion in the 80th minute of play. Leonides Mino's late challenge caught a Resistencia AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonides Mino helped the player get up and apologised. Filomeno Panpili made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roberto Pirro in the 88th minute. Cipriano Cresenciano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Osvaldo Amato. Picapiedras's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tadeo Mannie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Resistencia AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
