Pastor Handi started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute Horacio Lauren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Lluques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Artemio Cordero got free with Aldo Lluques in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Pastor Handi put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Antonio Chorache. 23 minutes into the match, Covunco's Casimiro Savion sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antonio Chorache narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Horacio Lauren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Artemio Cordero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonio Chorache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casimiro Savion, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Horacio Lauren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horacio Lauren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Aldo Lluques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antonio Chorache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Handi in the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Horacio Lauren to strike the kick off in the second half. La Mandarina Dinámica were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Covunco's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ivan Rufio took the corner. After taking down the ball on La Mandarina Dinámica's corner Blas Acuña fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aldo Lluques quite easily take care of the ball. Horacio Lauren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eustaquio Gorbea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 63 minutes into the game, Casimiro Savion cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Antonio Chorache was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 73rd minute of the match Armando Qwinton shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aldo Lluques showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Artemio Cordero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Covunco's Casimiro Savion got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 86th minute of the match, Pastor Handi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Antonio Chorache saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. La Mandarina Dinámica's Antonio Chorache proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save La Mandarina Dinámica from getting a goal against them. Armando Qwinton was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 92 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Covunco eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
