Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Mariano Savion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Antonio Chorache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tadeo Mannie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filomeno Panpili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Cordero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Resistencia AFC defense, Horacio Lauren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filomeno Panpili. The Resistencia AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filomeno Panpili should have stopped the shot. Mariano Savion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Chorache having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Mariano Savion managed to get in a good position for a shot. Resistencia AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Savion was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonio Chorache breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Severino Constancio's late challenge caught a La Mandarina Dinámica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Severino Constancio helped the player get up and apologised. Severino Constancio hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Horacio Lauren was the one to do the kick off. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind La Mandarina Dinámica's goalkeeper Antonio Chorache, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 64 minutes, Artemio Cordero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Mandarina Dinámica and the Resistencia AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tadeo Mannie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Chorache having to interfere. Mariano Savion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, La Mandarina Dinámica's Arnaldo Bide got a free kick in the 76th minute. Tadeo Mannie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute Mariano Savion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Chorache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artemio Cordero might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filomeno Panpili. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Artemio Cordero ran back to his position shaking his head. La Mandarina Dinámica's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cipriano Cresenciano ran over to the corner to take the kick. Severino Constancio was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. If Mariano Savion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
