The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aquilino Esdras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guaberto Hori, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 3 minutes into the game, Chorrillos FC's Guaberto Hori nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacinto Mogel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaston Gizon's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute Gaston Gizon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Mogel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaston Gizon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Mogel having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaston Gizon in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacinto Mogel saved Chorrillos FC from getting behind. In the 32nd minute of the match Teo Dubardo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aquilino Esdras skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 38 minutes, Gaston Gizon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vialidad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaston Gizon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacinto Mogel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Gizon in the 42nd minute of play. In the 46th minute, Mauro Balesio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gaston Gizon to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Gaston Gizon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chorrillos FC's Jacinto Mogel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adrian Refugio during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 54th minute, Adrian Refugio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacinto Mogel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Gizon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Vialidad booed when Chorrillos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Refugio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaston Gizon had several of the Chorrillos FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 58 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Jacinto Mogel as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Vialidad's Primitivo Peli in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chorrillos FC's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Chorrillos FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Augusto Gagriel hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, Gaston Gizon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gaudencio Lander's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Jacinto Mogel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Chorrillos FC's Jacinto Mogel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Chorrillos FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Chorrillos FC's Adrian Refugio got a free kick in the 74th minute. Jacinto Mogel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Gizon in the 75th minute of play. After 75 played minutes Chorrillos FC got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Gagriel. Vialidad's Gaudencio Lander got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gaudencio Lander came free with the goalkeeper in the 84th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jacinto Mogel could save by the left post. 87 minutes into the match, Vialidad's Gaudencio Lander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacinto Mogel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Despite being the better team, Vialidad failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
