The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Artemio Cordero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Orti having to interfere. La Mandarina Dinámica's Horacio Lauren got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aurelio Petri hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Jarillas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Lauren came free, but Arnaldo Orti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Aurelio Petri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jarillas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurelio Petri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonio Chorache breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arnaldo Orti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Cordero in the 30th minute of the match. Tim Duncan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Antonio Chorache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnaldo Orti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Lauren in the 37th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Jarillas FC's Prospero Rubio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antonio Chorache narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Blas Acuña during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Blas Acuña kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Horacio Lauren made the kick off in the second half. Arnaldo Orti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horacio Lauren's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. A nice corner shot did that Ivan Rufio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arnaldo Orti quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Artemio Cordero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnaldo Orti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horacio Lauren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in La Mandarina Dinámica's zone, Aurelio Petri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonio Chorache came out of the goal and Aurelio Petri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Artemio Cordero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Arnaldo Orti made a huge save. 71 minutes into the match, Jarillas FC's Aurelio Petri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antonio Chorache narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aurelio Petri might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antonio Chorache. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aurelio Petri ran back to his position shaking his head. If Prospero Rubio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonio Chorache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Petri, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Aurelio Petri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the game, Horacio Lauren recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arnaldo Orti. Horacio Lauren showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. If Aurelio Petri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Mandarina Dinámica's goalkeeper Antonio Chorache, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aurelio Petri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Antonio Chorache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Artemio Cordero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artemio Cordero succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 98th playminute. Although Jarillas FC had been in control for most of the match, La Mandarina Dinámica still came away with the win.
