Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tadeo Mannie started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute Guaberto Hori shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Panpili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Chorrillos FC's Adrian Refugio got a free kick in the 6th minute. Mariano Savion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tadeo Mannie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacinto Mogel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. If Tadeo Mannie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeo Mannie in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacinto Mogel saved Chorrillos FC from getting behind. After having played for 18 minutes, Mariano Savion managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Resistencia AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Savion was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlos Irrintzi kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Mariano Savion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Mogel having to interfere. With a little luck, Chorrillos FC's Jacinto Mogel got control of the ball when Mariano Savion tried to sneak it across the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Baldomiro Castel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacinto Mogel. Chorrillos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baldomiro Castel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Jacinto Mogel made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Mariano Savion sent off a good shot on target. Jacinto Mogel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeo Mannie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacinto Mogel made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Mariano Savion sent off a good shot on target. In the 40th minute, Tadeo Mannie fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Jacinto Mogel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baldomiro Castel's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Guaberto Hori made the kick off in the second half. When Tadeo Mannie came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Resistencia AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tadeo Mannie couldn't finish the play. In the 59thth minute of the game Mariano Savion who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chorrillos FC's Jacinto Mogel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mariano Savion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Mogel having to interfere. Filomeno Panpili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Gagriel in the 73rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Tadeo Mannie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Resistencia AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tadeo Mannie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacinto Mogel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tadeo Mannie struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Jacinto Mogel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Resistencia AFC. A collision led to Chorrillos FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Augusto Gagriel hit a great ball. After having played for 93 minutes, Tadeo Mannie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Resistencia AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeo Mannie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Resistencia AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
