In the 16th minute, Artemio Cordero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Albano Salomon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Académica FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Albano Salomon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonio Chorache breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antonio Chorache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Paul in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Académica FC's Donato Pasqual nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antonio Chorache made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After some careless play in the La Mandarina Dinámica defense, Donato Pasqual kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antonio Chorache. The La Mandarina Dinámica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antonio Chorache should have stopped the shot. Lázaro Barbosa scored 0-7 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antonio Chorache, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Albano Salomon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antonio Chorache was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. When Orlando Mendez came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Académica FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlando Mendez couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute, Albano Salomon made a precise shot to the right of Antonio Chorache. La Mandarina Dinámica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. The La Mandarina Dinámica players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Académica FC were winning 0-9.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orlando Mendez to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Gogo Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Académica FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gogo Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonio Chorache breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orlando Mendez in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antonio Chorache prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 55th minute, Académica FC's Jeronimo Paul ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Antonio Chorache. Antonio Chorache yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. 59 minutes into the match, La Mandarina Dinámica's goalkeeper Antonio Chorache had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orlando Mendez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Barbosa in the 60th minute of play forced La Mandarina Dinámica's goalkeeper Antonio Chorache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eloy Orlondo hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Orlando Mendez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Chorache having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Lázaro Barbosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antonio Chorache. La Mandarina Dinámica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lázaro Barbosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-12. Antonio Chorache was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Lázaro Barbosa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lázaro Barbosa really showed his touch with that goal: 0-13. After 75 played minutes Académica FC got a freekick which was hit by Jeronimo Paul. Antonio Chorache was a little too slow when Lázaro Barbosa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 0-14. Albano Salomon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Chorache having to interfere. Antonio Chorache took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albano Salomon succeeded in the game's 91st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-16. Académica FC played a much better game than La Mandarina Dinámica and deserved their victory. The La Mandarina Dinámica players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
