After 7 minutes, Leopoldo Frichoso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pocitos FC and the Albigasta players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pocitos FC's Leopoldo Frichoso got a free kick in the 7th minute. 12 minutes into the game, Siro Francho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Sixto Rencio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Siro Francho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixto Rencio having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Albigasta's goal looked a bit too open when Victoriano Mitxel came free, but Sixto Rencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sixto Rencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siro Francho, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Mario Kusko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Cecilio Abar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Albigasta's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Lleir came free, but Sixto Rencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sixto Rencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Jorrin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victoriano Mitxel in the 46th minute of play forced Albigasta's goalkeeper Sixto Rencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the game, Eustaquio Elivareo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Albigasta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pocitos FC the free kick. After 47 played minutes Albigasta got a freekick which was hit by Eustaquio Elivareo. The Albigasta players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pocitos FC were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victoriano Mitxel to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastian Jorrin during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 54th match minute, Pocitos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Jorrin to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute Joel Bermudo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Abar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sixto Rencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Lleir in the 58th minute of the match. Siro Francho struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Sixto Rencio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pocitos FC. 86 minutes into the match, Jairo Lleir dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sixto Rencio, 0-3. The Pocitos FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
