Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cristo Lluques, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Rafael Checa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristo Lluques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Leizarraga in the 31st minute of the match. When Emiliano Quiroga fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caracú's protests and gave Emiliano Quiroga a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Caracú's Emiliano Quiroga got a free kick in the 33rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Checa in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lázaro Iztal saved IAN FC from getting behind. Uriel Guillem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Cristo Lluques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Cristo Lluques managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when IAN FC's Uriel Guillem fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moises Leizarraga was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute Marcial Argider shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Iztal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rafael Checa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uriel Guillem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristo Lluques having to interfere. Marcial Argider fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Iztal having to interfere. IAN FC's Lázaro Iztal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Argider in the 68th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Alfredo Monte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. IAN FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caracú the free kick. After a rather tough play, IAN FC's Alfredo Monte got a free kick in the 69th minute. When Federico Fix fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caracú's protests and gave Federico Fix a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of IAN FC booed when Caracú was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Fix didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Moises Leizarraga came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the IAN FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Leizarraga couldn't finish the play. Cristo Lluques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Guillem in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, IAN FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Iztal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Checa. IAN FC's Lázaro Iztal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save IAN FC from getting a goal against them. 87 minutes into the match, Caracú's Rafael Checa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lázaro Iztal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rafael Checa might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lázaro Iztal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rafael Checa ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristo Lluques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albino Mannie in the 95th minute of play. Marcial Argider recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 98 minutes, Hermengildo Ramos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caracú and the IAN FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 98 played minutes Caracú got a freekick which was hit by Hermengildo Ramos.
